Poem: Awaken

It's The Word; Spoken.

I have been suffering a massive dose of Covid writers block of late, but thankfully, where my own block is kicking me in the balls, for others, the creativity is flowing rather nicely. So I bring you some more spoken word by my good friend Steve Baker. Steves style is slightly different to mine, which I enjoy, and I hope you enjoy it too.

Awaken

The world is steadily descending into chaos and ruin;

While politicians virtue signal and deceive, pure lies they are spewing;

Ignoring the facts and hiding the truth from the people;

The MP’s and media bow at the altar under their paymasters steeple;

Governments, institutions, corporations and academia have collectively sold out;

Handing control of our future and sovereignty to an unelected, goose stepping Kraut;

Klaus Schwab and the sinister WEF are now pulling all the strings;

With their elite corporate backers determined to steal your money and your things;

“You’ll own nothing and be happy” is their tag line and mantra;

Empowering and enriching themselves instead of their people they are meant to;

They’ve covered all bases and the net is closing fast;

The masses must now awaken before their freedom is all in the past;

We must unite and rid ourselves of this menace, this scourge;

Routing out the evil wherever it tries to hide or submerge;

Let justice be served and leave no stone unturned;

Until all traitors to humanity are imprisoned or burned;

We have the power to change what they have planned for us and our children;

But the window is closing with each day and each season;

So prepare to fight tooth and nail for freedom, truth, honesty and all that is good;

Before they turn out the lights, cut off our water and food;

They see us as vermin calling us ‘the vulgar and profane’;

So we must eliminate their tiny number, ensuring it is we who remain.
